The Yellow Thank You Notes

I woke up today and there was a good friend on my bed, and the world felt like it was going to be a-okay. Also, you. You make me smile.

I know it was a secret so I won't say your names. But thank you for just being there and taking that late night walk and that random drive with me, just because I said on Facebook chat that I wasn't feeling so chipper today. Thank you for letting me play Beatles music the whole time, because I really, really felt like Beatles music tonight. Thank you for the stories. And for letting me take the walk you walk with your goodest friends. Thank you for allowing me to be one of the goodest friends. Life was made for these tiny moments.

THANK YOU. Tonight at midnight, I really wanted some chocolate milk with my damn cookies. Because of you I had chocolate milk to go with my damn cookies. Thank you for being open twenty four hours because to a girl without a fridge, 711 is the next best hope. Thank you for the walk I had to take to get to you, dear 711 near my apartment, because that walk made me think about how I should maybe start a blog about the things I am thankful for. Like you.
